Brand new year so i thought after being dormant for so long,maybe its time i say something. hmm... school reopens in 2 days time. I'm far from being enthusiastic about tis opening especially when 3/4 of my holidays were spent doing work and going back to school. New classes to teach..new challenges to face and added responsibilites to fulfil...sigh...
On a brighter note, my dear students made me proud for n lvl. first time in Dunman history, there was a 100% pass n all of them moved on to sec 5. 4H- you all deserve it and I'm very proud of each and everyone of you all.If that wasn't sweet enough, d lit results shocked me and my students(n mrs neo!). 71% distinction and out of this 71%, 54% scored a1s d rest a2s. wow..talk about a real fluke. but alhamdullillah, praises be to Him. I'm just happy that my efforts for those kids did not go to waste. 4G: You all never fail to surprise me. :p
well..how did i celebrate new yr? nothing much. no foam parties or anything of that nature. but i did have a nice lil night picnic on 30 December at Sentosa's hilltop with chilli crab, rambutans,durians, drinks & ben & jerry's ice-cream to savour. best of all, it was amongst the company of my loved ones- fiance', daughter, my good friends and their hubbies-to-be. and with our full tummies, at 1230 am,we headed down to sentosa'spahlawan beach where adina played with her sandcastle toys and we waddled in the waters and the sleepy ones were 'whale-beaching' on the mats. Had some fun being a kid and getting wet in those rolled up pair of jeans.headed home around 2 and was sure dead beat.But I'll do that again, anytime.
gonna spend the next day psyching myself up to face the kids and the work at school. sigh....will it ever end?
